City Council Gives Deep South Studios Two Thumbs Up

It's another win for the massive Deep South Studio going up in Algiers: after getting the unanimous approval of the City Planning Commission, City Council approved the project at its meeting today.

The $63.5 million planned movie production campus soared through with a 6-0 vote from the council (Councilwoman LaToya Cantrell was absent). The only thing to worry about is the future of those film tax credits.
