Brandan Odums' StudioBe Mega-Project Debuts Dec. 12

A photo posted by Bmike Odums (@bmike2c) on

Muralist Brandan Odums is non-stop, creating beautiful and inspiring projects like 2014's massive ExhibitBe, a Michelangelo-inspired mural in New Orleans East, a marquee project for this year's New Orleans Film Festival, and more. Soon, he's set to debut a massive solo show at a Bywater warehouse.

You can get a preview of the show, called StudioBe, at Amnesty International USA's "Art For Rights" group show held at Odum's exhibit site, a warehouse at 2925-2999 Royal St., on Dec. 12.

Odums says the installation will be "the final of the BE trilogy"—the first was 2013's ProjectBe, followed by 2014's ExhibitBe. The paintings are entirely by Odums, not his studio assistants. The Amnesty International group show is one day only; StudioBE will fully open in early January.
