Did Beyoncé and Jay Z Buy This Home in the Garden District?

There's a rumor swirling around New Orleans that Beyonce and Jay Z purchased the 10,000-square-foot Spanish baroque Garden District residence that once housed a church, and later Ballet Hysell school. Adding a New Orleans home to Carter-Knowles' collection of collection of real estate would make sense, since Beyone's sister Solange owns a store here and probably lives in the French Quarter. Plus, the family seems to enjoy visiting. We did a little digging, and here's what we found: According to the Orleans Parish Assessor's office online database, 1527 Harmony St. is owned by an LLC named Sugarcane Park. A search of the LLC on the Louisiana Secretary of State website shows a mailing address for Parkwood Entertainment LLC, which is incidentally Beyonce's management company.
