Luna Fete Returns This November, This Time in Central City

Last winter the French group La Maison Productions lit up New Orleans' Gallier Hall with a series of animated light installations the Arts Council of New Orleans dubbed Luna Fete. Doug MacCash of NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune reported this week that Luna Fete will return this year, this time with installations from the Portugal-based art group OCUBO and on a building in Central City.
McCash reports that this year's projection is called "Now," which stands for "New Orleans way." OCUBO, who has produced similar installations in Australia, Israel, Ireland and beyond, has enlisted the help of New Orleans school children for the project.

The projections will screen nightly Nov. 29 to Dec. 5 at Ashé Cultural Arts Center's Power House Theater at 1731 Baronne St.
