Summer in New Orleans has us daydreaming about swimming as much as possible, so of course we're salivating over any home on the market with a big, beautiful pool. Whether you just want to fantasize, or if you're actually in the market for a house with a pool (please invite us over. You know, as a finder's fee type thing), we've rounded up some of the most delectable pools and outdoor spaces we've seen on the market. There's even an indoor pool in this roundup. We did not, however, find any dog pools this time.
↑ 1527 Sixth St.
The price: $2,990,000
What it gets you: Both a huge screened porch and a terrace that look out onto your saltwater pool and outdoor kitchen. You also get 13-foot ceilings; a big kitchen and dining area; original hardwood floors, medallions and millwork; and a bar.
↑ 6946 Thor Ct.
The price: $325,000
What it gets you: Perhaps the most bizarre house on the list, the New Orleans East "fantasy" has an indoor pool. Overlooking the pool is a balcony with a wet bar, and the pool itself has a little swim-up table. Total party pad.
↑ 1404 Valmont St.
The price: $1,826,000
What it gets you: This Uptown house has a dreamy outdoor set up with a pool surrounded by plenty of room for partying. There's even a room with a wet bar that opens up into the outdoor area, where there's also a cabana. The inside is killer, too.
↑ 6226 Patton St.
The price: $1,100,000
What it gets you: This one wins for the most creative pool house on the list: this Audubon Park-area house has a chapel in the backyard where you could host a wedding (the listing says it's happened before) or just have all the food and drinks for your really awesome pool party.
↑ 4817 St. Charles Ave.
The price: $1,795,000
What it gets you: This Uptown home has three terraces. Three. One of them has a covered grill with bar seating. The pool itself is shaded by a row of bamboo trees. There's also a big solarium where you can observe your outdoor paradise from indoors.
