Wine Bar Now Part of Frank's Steakhouse Development

There's a new wave of changes afoot on Freret Street, and one of the biggest developments down the pipeline is that of the old Frank's Steakhouse. The Advocate reports that a new wine bar and eatery from Mark Latter, owner of the old-guard Creole restaurant Tujague's, will be part of the development that's slowly taking shape.

Bar Frances will open next spring at the Freret Street spot. As Uptown Messenger previously reported, a chain yogurt shop with a local franchise, a juice bar and professional offices are also planned for the development.
