An old 23,000-square-foot warehouse just off Tulane Avenue in Mid-City is set to become a distillery aimed at producing 150,000 cases of vodka a year, The Advocate reports.
Robbie Vitrano and Gordon Stewart's Bootleg Spirits is set to open in September at a warehouse on 3918 Gravier St. Besides giving us a shitload of craft vodka, Ian McNulty reports, the space will be visually exciting.
When complete, windows facing the adjacent expressway will give motorists a view of copper stills inside. You can't drink and drive but you can watch vodka being made while you drive. Head on over to The Advocate for more.
