TripAdvisor Users Rank National WWII Museum 3rd Best Museum in Country, 15th in World

Calling it "a completely contemporary museum with interactive exhibits, amazing shows and an incredible layout," users of the travel site TripAdvisor picked the National World War II Museum as the no. 3 best museum in the country, and the 15th top museum in the world, in its 2015 Very Best in Travel readers choice awards.

NYC-based starchitects Voorsanger Architects, known for their museum designs around the world, teamed up with local firm Mathes Brierre Architects for the museum construction. The museum expanded its striking, modern footprint in the Warehouse District with the U.S. Freedom Pavilion: Boeing Center, which has a 96-foot glass wall, in 2013. Interactive multimedia exhibits like "Road to Berlin" make this place as engaging as it is architecturally interesting.
