Was: $2,595,000
Now: $2,350,000
You save: $245,000
When this Audubon Boulevard raised basement with a history of price chopping hit the market in July it was asking $2,800,000, and about a month later the price was knocked down to $2,595,000. The last time it was on the market in 2013, it sold for $980,000. Ah, the crazy New Orleans real estate market! Now this old-money estate, with an elevator, three-car garage and other tony amenities, is asking $2,350,000. Also included in the 7,043-square-foot home: red oak hardwood floors, a screened porch, and a massive basement with a gameroom and bar (total man cave potential). Our only hope is that the eventual owner maybe paints an accent color somewhere.
