It looks like one of the members of New Orleans’ Stalled Development Hall of Fame, the super-delayed Tracage luxury apartments, might be back on track. Canal Street Beat noticed the developer recently filed an amendment to the 16-story luxury apartment project for HDLC approval.
The Warehouse District project was announced after Katrina, but has been delayed by lawsuits ever since. The last sign of life was in 2014 when the project finally broke ground, only to be stopped by a lawsuit once again.
According to Canal Street Beat, rumor has it that the lawsuit is finally being resolved.
The amendment filed by developer Anthony "TJ" Iarocci’s team includes new design elements. Head on over the Canal Street Beat for renderings.
