While two of New Orlean’s library branches are set to temporarily close for repair, a third is to be added to the list.
The New Orleans public library’s main branch, located on Loyola Avenue in the Central Business District, is set to close for two weeks for electrical maintenance and other renovations, Gambit reports. The library will close between December 5 to December 18.
The library’s electrical system has not been updated since it officially opened in 1958.
Currently the Mid-City branches, and the Nix library branch both closed in October. The Nix branch is closed indefinitely for renovations, while the Mid-City Library is set to move to a new location by mid-November.
