Christmas New Orleans Style in the French Quarter

Free concerts and festivities start Thursday, November 17

Holiday season is around the corner, and the city is celebrating Christmas New Orleans Style. This Thursday, November 17, New Orleans will kick off its Christmas New Orleans Style events by celebrating its 32nd annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at Washington Artillery Park.

The annual Tree Lighting Ceremony is at 6 p.m. Thursday, November 17, 2016 on the moonwalk in front of #JacksonSquare....

According to WDSU, French Quarter festival staff, and volunteers from New Orleans began preparing the lights and decoration today, Tuesday, November 15.

Christmas New Orleans style is one of the many events hosted by French Quarter Festivals, Inc.

In celebration of christmas in New Orleans, the 32nd Annual Lighting ceremony will have free concerts throughout the holiday season. On November 17, the Jones Sister, a New Orleans-based gospel group, will be the first to perform at the St. Augustine Catholic Church.
