We all know rent's getting expensive, and Jane's Place Sustainability Initiative is aiming to add some affordable housing to the rental market. The nonprofit's Palmyra Apartments, providing housing for families earning 60 percent of the area median income, held an open house this week.
The income requirement for the apartments equals to about $36,000 for a family of four. The complex, located on 2739 Palmyra St., contains four three-bedroom units with a shared laundry room. Rent is $800 a month.
Check out the Mid-City Messenger story for photos of the project.
