Sidney Torres IV is non-stop, y'all. Between being Batman and calling out the NOPD, New Orleans' real estate Romeo has bought yet another property for redevelopment.
Torres bought the former Carmelite monastery at 1236 N. Rampart St., right on the edge of the French Quarter, and is planing to convert the space into a mixed-use development with apartments and possibly a dining and retail space similar to St. Roch Market.
Most recently, Torres announced a project on Bayou St. John by the Lafitte Greenway, tried to buy Oz, bought a place on St. Claude and inspired an idea for a TV show. When is this guy running for office?
