Last time we heard, the hotly contested proposed sports complex at the Fly was on hold until both sides could talk it out some more.
Now, opponents are seeking a zoning change that would make development at the riverview park subject to the approval of the City Planning Commission and City Council.
Currently, the project just needs the Audubon Commission's approval. Adrienne Petrosini, representing Save the Fly NOLA, has requested creating an interim zoning district for the Fly.
