The Ground Floor of CBD's 925 Common Apartments is Filling Up With Retail

An upscale barber shop and "unique" restaurant are coming soon

As apartment complexes boasting amenities—such as the residential buildings of the South Market District—fill the Warehouse District/CBD area, an older building in the neighborhood is adding retail to attract "amenity-oriented tenants."

The 925 Common apartment complex is filling its previously vacant 10,500 square feet of ground-floor retail space with an upscale barber shop, a restaurant, and more to be determined.

The barber shop, the Rooster Club, is slated to have a soft opening later this week. The developers behind the building, the Atlanta-based Palmetto Partners Inc., say a "restaurant tenant offering a unique dining experience" is also on the way. A remaining 2,000 square feet of space is still available to lease.
