Ahead of National Bike to Work Day on May 20, a new infographic from the U.S. Census Bureau shows that every day is bike to work day for many New Orleanians.
New Orleans ranks among the top 20 cities with populations greater than 100,000 in the amount of people who bike to work. Berkeley, California ranks the highest.
The city has installed more bike lanes in the years after Hurricane Katrina. Most recently, a bike lane was announced for Jackson Avenue in the Garden District.
