CBD, Marigny Top New Orleans’ Most Popular Neighborhoods For Renters

The study also shows which type of housing was in high demand last month

In February, Zumper released a list of the most expensive New Orleans neighborhoods for renters. And now, the rental platform just released a list of the most popular neighborhoods for renters, and there is some overlap.

The Central Business District, Marigny, and Lower Garden District top the list; the CBD and LGD also topped the priciest neighborhoods list (LDG was no. 1, CBD no. 2.). The list was based on "several thousand emails and calls, also known as inquiries, sent to rental properties last month."

The study also determined which type of housing was in high demand last month.

The most sought-after unit types last month were one-bedroom apartments, the median price for which was $1,025.

Here’s the full list of the most popular neighborhoods for renters:

3. Lower Garden District

4. Warehouse District
