Renderings for the six-story apartment building planned for the CBD

The building plans to include 10 two-bedroom, roughly 2,000 square-foot apartments

Developer Scott Begg and his company Trinion Properties announced in 2014 they were planning to demolish a two-story warehouse in the CBD to make room for an apartment building. [Update: Begg sold the property in 2015]. The project has some new renderings available, reports Canal Street Beat.

The developer, who has enlisted architect Metro Studio for the project, submitted new drawings and renderings to the Historic Districts Landmark Commission for review.

Plans for the site at 611 Commerce St. call for a 65-foot, 23,345 square-foot building with ground floor parking and five floors of 10 two-bedroom, roughly 2,000 square-foot apartments.

Head on over to Canal Street Beat for the rest of the renderings.

Update: Trinion Properties reached out to say that the company, and Scott Begg, are no longer associated with this project. "Mr. Begg sold the property in question in early 2015 and is not affiliated with its development," a spokesperson said. We have changed the article to reflect this information.
