The most expensive home in New Orleans got a price cut this week—and it’s still the most expensive home on the market.
On the market since January 2013, the Garden District’s Robinson House is a sprawling, ornate Italianate, built between 1859 and 1865, boasting 10,516 square feet of space—making it also one of the biggest homes in New Orleans. And that’s not even including the 1,500 square foot, two-bedroom, two-bath carriage house on the property. There is also a pool.
Originally asking $9,500,000 when it first hit the market, the price has steadily creeped down since then. Most recently it was asking $7,999,000, and now it’s down to $7,779,000.
