John Kennedy Toole’s Riverbend center hall gets a price cut

The property just got a $70K price cut

If you were looking to snag the former home of A Confederacy of Dunces author John Kennedy Toole, Fortuna is on your side: the Riverbend center hall just got a price cut.

Originally asking $1,150,000, the price is now down to $1,080,000. Built in 1885, the house is designated as Toole’s final home by a historic marker on the property and documents floating around the internet. The 3,636 square-foot home boasts wood floors, 12-foot ceilings, and formal living and dining rooms.
