New Orleans: Least expensive Lower Garden District homes for sale

Some of the best homes on a budget

Earlier this week, NeighborhoodX released a chart that ranks 17 New Orleans neighborhoods from least to most expensive. On that list, the Lower Garden District, which has an average price of $277/square foot, trails just behind the Bywater and West Riverside.

In considering its place on the chart, NeighborhoodX took on the challenge to highlight some of the least expensive homes in the Lower Garden District that are on the market right now.

The least expensive home in this neighborhood is 1224 St Charles Avenue #215, priced at $154,500. This one-bedroom condo has 422 square feet and one bathroom. It has a cozy living room, reserved parking, and a shared exercise facility. HOA dues are $390/month.

1454 St Mary Street #3 sits on the very end of this list, priced at $290,000. It has two bedroom, two bathrooms, and 1,100 square feet. Highlights include its gorgeous hardwood floors, soaring ceilings, and original mantles. It has a shared pool at its rear and a reserved parking spot. HOA dues are $560/month.
