Over the last few months, our friends at NeighborhoodX have analyzed house prices in New Orleans. So far, the analytics and research firm evaluated over 10 New Orleans neighborhoods in depth and released a global analysis of seventeen neighborhoods in the city.
Today, NeighborhoodX analyzed Irish Channel housing data for October of 2017. Averaging $246/square foot, the Irish Channel price range is in between Faubourg Livaudais ($259/square foot) and Lakeview ($215/square foot).
This new construction located at 3137 Constance Street is listed as the most expensive home for sale in the Irish Chanel. Asking $425/square foot, this home has four bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and 3,001 square feet. It has an airy living room, open floor dining room, and a generously-sized master bedroom. The asking price is $1,275,000.
The least expensive property for sale in the Irish Channel asks $160/square foot. Located at 2928 Annunciation Street, this multi-family home has a total of seven bedrooms and three bathrooms. Two units have three bedrooms and one bathroom, while a mother-in-law suite has one bedroom and one bathroom. While there isn’t much detail on the condition of this property, it does come with an extra lot that sits right behind the complex.
