The French Quarter’s least expensive homes in October of 2017

Over the past couple weeks, our friends at NeighborhoodX have analyzed hour prices in several New Orleans neighborhoods. This week, the research and analytics firm found the 10 least expensive homes in the French Quarter.

In a recent analysis of 17 New Orleans neighborhoods, the French Quarter holds the highest cost per square foot at $531, which is $96 more than New Orleans’s Central Business District.

The least expensive home is this cozy 262-square-foot condo located on Dumaine Street. Asking, $185,000, this first-floor condo has an eye-catching brick fireplace, compact living room, and a kitchen equipped with stainless steel appliances. A sizable courtyard sits at this home’s rear. HOA dues are $149/month.

The most expensive home on this list is this $249,000 condo located at 514 Dumanine Street unit #10, near Jackson Square. At 531 square feet, it has one bedroom and one bathroom. Highlights include its captivating cathedral ceilings found in its open floor living and dining space, hardwood flooring, and exposed brick wall. HOA dues are $314/month.
