After nearly three years of planning, the Musee Conti Wax Museum and its annex building will reopen as a luxury condominium in January of 2018.

Called La Cire Condominiums, the development maintained the original facade of the museum’s main building and its annex. To accommodate the structure’s 16 residential units, the developers added two floors to the main building and one floor to the annex.

Located at 917 Conti Street, the luxury condominium will have a shared rooftop pool, hot tubs, sun deck, and fitness center at its annex. The condo will also have 15 optional parking spaces for residents.

A shared amenity deck will be located at the top of the condo’s annex building.

The most expensive unit at La Cire is this penthouse that lists for $2,899,000. Measuring at 2,217 square feet, this unit has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Its private outdoor living space includes a 1,650-square-foot patio, a 219-square-foot balcony, and a pool.

The largest penthouse unit at La Cire Condominiums will have three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and over 2,000 square feet.

This ground-floor unit that asks $499,000 ranks as the least expensive unit in this condominium. At 770 square feet, this home has one bedroom and one bathroom. Highlights include its open-floor living space, recessed lighting, and large windows. Its kitchen comes equipped with stainless steel appliances and a mix of quartz and granite countertops. It also has a private 128-square-foot patio.

The least expensive unit, which will ask $499,000, will have an open floorplan.

Two penthouses will be available in the main building of La Cire and one standalone penthouse in condo’s annex.
