In a recent map, Curbed New Orleans pinpointed some of the smallest homes on the market in New Orleans. Today, NeighborhoodX compared the smallest condos for sale—which all happen to be located in the French Quarter.

According to NeighborhoodX’s analysis, the smallest homes range from 220 to 358 square feet.

The smallest condo on this list, 514 Dumaine Street, ranks as the smallest condo for sale in New Orleans. Measuring in 220 square feet, it has a studio floorplan, a kitchenette, and a custom Murphy bed.

The largest on this list, 823 Burgundy Street #1, measures at 358 square feet. Asking $255,000, this studio has exposed beams, a brick fireplace, and stainless steel appliances.

"Smaller properties tend to command higher prices per square foot compared to larger ones in the same neighborhood, and these properties in the French Quarter are clustered in the upper half of the neighborhood's price range," says Constantine Valhouli, Director of Research for NeighborhoodX.

“To put these prices in context, the average asking price in October for the French Quarter was $531/square foot, up to $1,093/square foot,” he adds.
