For $100 under our budget, you can rent this large Gentilly Terrace cottage for $1,400/month. Located on Spain Street, this 1,550-square-foot home has two bedrooms and one bathroom. This home has a screened porch with awnings at its facade. Highlights include its hardwood flooring, washer and dryer hookups, and mantel. Its kitchen, which has standard appliances, comes fully furnished. A detached two-car garage sits at its rear. No pets are allowed under the rental agreement.

3433 Calhoun Street

This single-family cottage with off-street parking in Uptown rents for $1,450/month. At first glance it has a sizable front yard and a covered sitting porch. This home has recessed lighting, stainless steel appliances, and in-unit washer and dryer. While there’s no documentation of square footage, it does have one bedroom and one bathroom. A wooden deck, one-bedroom guest house, and detached shed sit at its rear. There’s no mention of any pet policy.

Decatur and Governor Nicholls

For $1,500/month, you can rent this smaller unit in the French Quarter. Measuring at 700 square feet, this third-floor unit has one bedroom and one bathroom. Highlights include its exposed ceiling beams, stainless steel appliances, large windows, and walk-in closet. A washer and dryer is available on site. No pets are allowed under the rental agreement.

425 Burgundy Street

This renovated French Quarter unit near the Rampart Streetcar line rents for $1,500/month. At 810 square feet, this home has two bedrooms and one bathroom. We’re in love with its vaulted ceilings, hardwood flooring, and exposed brick. Its kitchen has stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. A courtyard sits at the rear of the complex. There’s no mention of any pet policy.

1526 Monroe Street

You can rent this sizable cottage in Leonidas for $1,575/ month. At 1,038 square feet, this home has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Highlights include off-street parking, recessed lighting, and a gorgeous master suite. Its kitchen has stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. There is no mention of any pet policy in this listing.
