A 111,300 square-foot parking garage is slated for the Lower Garden District on 821 Tchoupitoulas Street. Filed under Lyons Den Development, LLC, the developers plan to accommodate up to 237 cars.

The five-story garage will be located next to New Orleans Copper, Inc., the Louisiana Children’s Museum Julia Street location, and several galleries and restaurants.

There are no details on when the development will be complete.

The lot is also four blocks from Convention Center Boulevard, which is being overhauled in the near future, according to the New Orleans Exhibition Hall Authority.

Development in the Lower Garden District/Warehouse remains on the rise. Four blocks from the garage, near the LGD, Spectrum plans to build a $70 million mixed-use condominium. Edward Communities plans to build a mixed-used development at 1301 Annunciation Street.
