New Orleans Recreation Development Commission opens pools June 2

Three months of pool time

Starting Friday, June 2, NORDC pools will be open for public use until Monday, September 4. NORDC teachers will host swimming lessons for children, adults and seniors, and a water aerobics course until mid-August.

While hours vary, NORDC pools are generally open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays; and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. All pools are closed from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for scheduled maintenance and cleaning. To find pool nearest to you and its local hours, check out the NORDC schedule.
