June 2017: Treme Lafitte neighborhood price range

One of the least expensive neighborhoods in New Orleans

Over the last few months, our friends at NeighborhoodX have analyzed house prices in New Orleans. So far, the analytics and research firm evaluated over 10 New Orleans neighborhoods in depth and released a global analysis of fifteen popular neighborhoods in the city.

Today, NeighborhoodX revisited the Treme-Lafitte neighborhood. As of June of 2017, the average price per square foot in the neighborhood is $207. In March of 2017, the price was $220 per square foot.

In its global analysis, NeighborhoodX ranked the Treme as the 6th least expensive neighborhood in New Orleans.

1301 North Rampart Street Unit #204

The most expensive property in the Treme is 1301 North Rampart Street #204, priced at $555 per square foot. Built in 1927, this 568-square-foot condominium has one bedroom and one bathroom. The second floor unit has an open floor plan, and a balcony that overlooks the condominiums courtyard. HOA dues are $236/month.

2527 St Ann Street ranks as the least expensive home on NeighborhoodX’s analysis, priced at $92 per square foot. This 1,297-square-feet shotgun home has three bedrooms and one bathroom. Beyond its $120,000 price tag, the home has vinyl wood floors, and a newly-installed roof.
