Last week, Travel + Leisure Magazine ranked New Orleans No. 4 out of 15 for best cities in the United States.
The Magazine ranked each city based on readers scores on landmarks, culture, cuisine, friendliness, and overall value.
Readers recognized New Orleans for its booming entertainment life. New Orleans scored a 89.15 out of 100, beating out No. 6, Nashville, Tennessee, which scored an 85.50.
According to WDSU, readers ranked New Orleans the highest in celebrations and food.
The top three cities on the list include Savannah, Georgia (89.30), Santa Fe, new Mexico (89.94), and Charleston, South Carolina (91.54). Eight of the fifteen top cities are located in the other region.
Earlier this week, on a housing note, New Orleans ranked No. 1 as the city with the highest hike rents in the last six months.
