Over the last few months, our friends at NeighborhoodX have analyzed house prices in New Orleans. So far, the analytics and research firm evaluated over 10 New Orleans neighborhoods in depth and released a global analysis of seventeen neighborhoods in the city.
Today, NeighborhoodX revisited the Fairgrounds. In August of 2017, NeighborhoodX has valued the average price per square foot in the neighborhood at $201. The Fairgrounds home prices are near Freret, Lakeview, and Mid-City.

2929 Lepage Street ranks as the most expensive home in the Fairgrounds, priced at $312/square foot. Just cuspig Bayou St. John, this 3,094-square-foot home has four bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. Highlights include its large sitting porch, airy rooms, and spacious kitchen. The asking price is $965,000.
On the low end of the analysis is this barebones shotgun double located on Bruxelles Street, priced at $88/square foot. Sold in as-is condition, each unit has three bedrooms and one bathroom. The asking price is $185,000.
