Our friends at NeighborhoodX have analyzed house prices in New Orleans for the last month. So far, the analytics and research firm evaluated 11 New Orleans neighborhoods in depth and released a global analysis of seventeen neighborhoods in the city.
This week, NeighborhoodX evaluated Treme.
In August, NeighborhoodX valued the average asking price at $192/square foot in this area. This past June, the neighborhood average was $207/square foot. In a recent map that ranked 17 New Orleans neighborhoods from least to most expensive, Treme ranked in the middle at No. 8.
Earlier this week, Curbed New Orleans published a map of the 10 least expensive homes on the market in Treme.
The most expensive home in Treme sits at 1328 Esplanade Avenue, priced at $400/square foot. This towering Esplanade home has five units, five bedrooms, five bathrooms, and 3,251 square feet. Highlights include its spacious sitting porch, tall ceilings, original hardwood flooring, and exposed brick. The asking price is $1,300,000.
This multifamily home on Dumaine Street ranks as a the least expensive home in the neighborhood, priced at $72/square foot. Built in 1967, this unconventional property has two units, open floor living spaces, and basic interior design. The asking price is $169,000.
