If you’ve been itching to live in Algiers Point, you can rent part of this Victorian double for $1,200/month. Measuring in at 950 square feet, this home has two bedrooms and one bathroom. A relatively simple interior, this apartment has tall ceilings, a spacious kitchen and washer and dryer. Located on Pelican Avenue, it sits two blocks from the Mississippi River. The owner will consider small pets on a case-by-case basis. No off-street parking is offered.

You can live blocks away from the Bayou if you rent this shotgun apartment for $1,220/month. Built in 1894, this 800-square-foot home has one bedroom and one bathroom. Renovated in 2012, this home has heart pine floors, 12-foot ceilings, original doors, and stainless steel appliances. Out front is a modest yard and a shared sitting porch. The owner does not mention off-street parking or any details on pet policies.

Half of this sizable West Riverside double rents for $1,350/month. At 850 square feet, this apartment has two bedrooms and one bathroom. Highlights include hardwood flooring, recessed lighting, stainless steel appliances, French doors, and an airy kitchen. Though, one of its bedrooms might have gone a bit overboard with the wood trim. A private yard sits at this home’s rear. While there’s no mention of off-street parking, pets are considered on a case-by-case basis.

For $100 over budget, you can live in this sweet Bywater Victorian shotgun apartment for $1,400/month. While there’s no documentation on this home’s square footage, it does have two bedrooms and one bathroom. Recently renovated, it has a decked out kitchen that has stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. Original hardwood flooring, tall ceilings, and a private washer and dryer are also worth noting. The owner does offer off-street parking. Pets are allowed on a case-by-case basis on a rental agreement.
