How much does it cost to buy in Hollygrove?

It leans on the less expensive side of New Orleans

Over the last few months, our friends at NeighborhoodX have analyzed house prices in New Orleans. So far, the analytics and research firm evaluated over 10 New Orleans neighborhoods in depth and released a global analysis of seventeen neighborhoods in the city.

Today, NeighborhoodX revisited Hollygrove. In September of 2017, NeighborhoodX has valued the average price per square foot in the neighborhood at $83. In a recent chart that ranks 17 neighborhoods from least to most expensive, NeighborhoodX listed Hollygrove as the third least expensive neighborhood, just behind New Orleans East and the Lower 9th Ward.

This planned three-bedroom home on Colapissa Street ranks as the most expensive home in Hollygrove, priced at $234/square foot. Measuring in at 1,407 square feet, this home has three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. Planned highlights include 10-foot ceilings, open floor living room, and ample off-street parking. The asking price is $329,000.

Since last June, this four-bedroom home located on Forshey Street, continues to lead as the least expensive home in Hollygrove, priced at $36/square foot. Measuring in at 1,913 square feet, this home has four bedroom and two bathrooms. Highlights include its installed solar panels, a bonus room, and a garage. Undergoing a recent price drop, it now lists for $70,000.
