This new home in Algiers Point asks $1,600/month. Measuring in at 1,152 square feet, it has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Beyond its undoubtedly fresh exterior, it has a covered porch, open floor living room, and a fully-furnished kitchen. Its master bedroom, which sits on the second floor, has a large walk-in closet. While there appears to be off-street parking, there is no mention of any pet policy.

You can live in this large Victorian Bywater apartment on Dauphine Street for $1,600/month. Blocks away from Crescent Park, this 1,415-square-foot-home has two bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, and an airy layout. Highlights include its hardwood flooring, soaring ceilings, and traditional living and dining room. No off-street parking is provided and there is no mention of any pet policy.

For $50 more a month, you can live in this three-bedroom Lakeview home for $1,650/month. Highlights include its carport, renovated kitchen, and open-floor layout. The home comes with a washer and dryer. Pets are considered on a case-by-case basis.

If the French Quarter is more your style, check out this apartment renting for $1,650/month at the recently restored Madame X Mansion. At 950 square feet, it has one bedroom and one bathroom. This apartment has hardwood floors, fireplaces, pocket doors, a shared courtyard, and on-site washer and dryer. Pets are allowed, and the owner offers optional on-site parking.

The largest home on this list, you can live near the Fair Grounds Race Course for $1,650/month. This second-floor apartment measures in at 1,600 square feet, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It has a combination of hardwood and tile flooring, a fully-furnished kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and a large shared backyard with a fountain. Pets are allowed on a case-by-case basis.
