If you’ve ever dreamed of performing Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” dance before a captivated audience while decked out in zombie makeup (and what self-respecting New Orleanian hasn’t?)—here’s your chance. Flashmob New Orleans is holding free dance classes to prepare participants for its 7th Annual Thriller Halloween Flash Mob.

Hosted by the New Orleans School Of Ballet, Dancing Grounds, and Schramel Conservatory Of Dance, the classes culminate in a flash mob performance of the “Thriller” dance at noon on Wednesday, October 31 at Armstrong Park (701 N. Rampart Street).
Flashmob New Orleans is spearheaded by dancer and singer Kenneth Kynt Bryan, who gained notoriety for his scene-stealing cameo in TNT’s Claws. All classes are free, family-friendly, and open to the general public. Participants are also welcome to practice the dance at home and show up for the flash mob. Class times and locations are listed below.
