Recently, Hard Rock International and Louisiana developer Kailas Companies announced plans to build a Hard Rock Hotel New Orleans and Residences at the Hard Rock New Orleans on the corner of Canal and Rampart streets. This new Central Business District Development, which is near the French Quarter, will sit between the Saenger Theater and The Ruby Slipper Cafe.

The 18-story building will have 350 hotel rooms, and 62 residential units that will range between one and three bedrooms. While there’s no official pricing on the residential units, Hard Rock International expects to list reservations for some of the residences this spring, according to an official release.

Similar to other Hard Rock hotels, the lodging will have local music memorabilia. Other highlights include its 12,000 square feet of event space, a rooftop bar, ground-floor lounge, and an additional lounge on its eighth floor.
