Just in time for the tricentennial, the The Jung Hotel & Residences—a luxury transformation of the 100-year-old hotel—just reopened to the public.
The Hotel has 207 guest rooms and will eventually open a number of residential suites. There’s also 21,000 square feet of meeting and event space, which includes its 12,000-square-foot exhibit hall and a rooftop deck.
Its lobby has Carrera marble and Italian tile floors. You’ll also find its original Art Deco chandeliers hanging over its mezzanine bar and Great Hall.
In 2017, Canal Street beat reported that the Jung Hotel & Residences unveiled its 36-foot hotel sign.
Weiss, Dreyfous, & Seiferth built this 18-story hotel in 1908. In 2015, developer Joe Jaeger announced its restoration.
