St. Ann Street at Royal Street

This renovated first-floor apartment with a shared courtyard asks $1,395/month. Measuring at 700 square feet, this home has one bedroom and one bathroom. We appreciate its exposed brick walls, updated kitchen (with stainless steel appliances), and open common space. Optional parking is available off-site. Decatur Street at Governor Nicholls Street

Near the French Market, you can rent this third-floor apartment with elevator access for $1,500/month. We’re in love its large windows, exposed beams, ceiling fans, and hardwood floors. This two-story unit in the French Quarter rents for $1,895/month. Known as the Madame X mansion, this Creole townhouse stands three stories tall and has eight shuttered windows. You’ll find exposed brick walls, a spiraling staircase, aged hardwood flooring, and tall ceilings. It also has access to a private balcony and a shared courtyard Both cats and dogs are allowed under its rental agreement. The unit has optional off-street parking on site.
