One of our favorite open houses this week in New Orleans is this giant Creole cottage double on Royal Street that has a guest house. Built in 1898, we’re a fan of this giant abode nearly dwarfs its neighboring dwellings. In fact, this multi-family home measures over 3,700 square feet.

In the owner’s unit, it has wood moldings, soaring ceilings, decorative fire places, and would floors. We’re in love with how the dark wood millwork contrasts with its soft interior tones. You’ll also find airy den and dining spaces.

This unit also has a deep kitchen with wood cabinets, bar-top seating, and tons of countertop space.

Measuring at 2,583 square feet, the owner’s unit has three bedrooms and three full bathrooms.

Its secondary unit has one bedroom, one bathroom, and 667 square feet.

At its rear you’ll find an impressive covered patio that has a fire pit and a built-in hot tub. Just past this multi-family home’s entertainment space, you’ll find its guest house that has one bedroom, one bathroom, and 479 square feet. Behind that house is a sizable backyard and patio.

Interested? This multi-family home is open on Sunday, April 22, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
