A large, corner lot camelback in the Irish Channel near the Mississippi River pops with bright yellow doors framed in white against a deep-blue paint job.

Recently listed by Gardner Realtors, the two-storied single-family home opens up more than 2,300 square feet of space to house four bedrooms and three full bathrooms, an L-shaped dining and living area, and a long courtyard with off-street parking.

The kitchen, dining, and wide-open living areas twist around an original exposed brick fireplace at the center of the home. The fireplace curls up the 12-foot-tall ceiling alongside a staircase leading to a massive master bedroom and smaller bedroom suite. Underneath the stairs is a generously sized office (or a windowless fifth bedroom).

At the top of the stairs is a long walk-in closet with shelving and storage on either side and a marble desk at its end. The master itself is more than 16 feet long and nearly 14 feet wide. Each of the upstairs bedrooms has an en suite bathroom; the master bathroom has two deep circular sinks and mirrors above a tiled floor and a matching tiled bathtub.

Outside, a brick patio wraps around the side of the house and is surrounded by a tall wooden fence. The house is also a few blocks from Tchoupitoulas Street’s NOLA Brewing and the recently opened Miel Brewery & Taproom, two additions to a booming corridor for craft breweries that double as shared neighborhood spaces.

The home is listing for $569,000.
