Celebration in the Oaks

New Orleans City Park is hosting its 30th annual Celebration in the oaks. At the celebration there are several light displays, amusement rides, and iconic city park train rides. Celebration in the Oaks starts at 6 p.m., and closes at 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, 10 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is free for Friends of City Park members, and cost $9.00 for non-members.

Want to catch a parade? The Krewe of Jingle Parades rolls this Saturday, December 3, at 1 p.m. The route starts at Lee Circle, and rolls through St. Charles Avenue, Canal Street, and Baronne Street.

Christmas New Orleans Style is taking over the French Quarter. On Sunday, French Quarter Festivals is hosting a free concert from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the St. Louis Cathedral. Charmaine Neville, a jazz and R&B singer, will be performing this Sunday.
