French Quarter Studio

This circa 1840s French Quarter third floor studio is the quintessential Quarter rental — complete with balcony, hardwood floors, and high ceilings. Built by Nicholas Girod's (yes, that Girod) executors of his estate, the building has maintained its stellar condition and this studio proves it. $1,250 a month gets you a conveniently located studio with water and sanitation included.

LGD One Bedroom

Yet another upper level apartment, this Lower Garden District one bedroom has been fully renovated and, by the looks of things, is just aching to show off its new kitchen. 1433 Euterpe St boasts loads of natural light as well as its own private entrance. Other amenities include "access to a free washer/dryer" which sounds pretty fantastic to us. $1,200 a month pays rent and utilities and puts you stumbling distance from Coliseum Square Park. The only downside? Absolutely no pets.

Touro One Bedroom

4701 Coliseum St certainly has the most interesting shower curtain we've ever seen on Craigslist. It's so intricate that we can barely tell what's going on with it, aside from art. Limited photos make this Touro one bedroom a bit of a gamble, but if its listing is to be believed, it's got a relatively open floor plan and modern kitchen along with all the necessary appliances. $1,175 a month gets you a cozy, quiet home close to the streetcar line.

LGD One Bedroom with Balcony

Just down the street from our other Lower Garden District pick, 1414 Euturpe St boasts one very special extra amenity — a balcony. It's even got its own Youtube video, though the soundtrack's kinda lacking. Amend that problem with some killer beats yourself with a one year lease of the place for just $1,175 a month.

Bywater Two Bedroom

Is anyone else craving creamsicles? This delectable Bywater two bedroom double has us awfully hungry for the good stuff, which it most definitely delivers. Historic elements include a clawfoot bathtub and hardwood floors. Quirky elements include rooms painted every color under the sun. The listing advertises "live music every night" in its backyard, which may be a subtle nod at nearby Bacchanal's nightly revelry. $1,200 a month gets you a home with a washer, dryer, and love of "big, friendly dogs".

French Quarter One Bedroom

Live right by Mojo's and Angeli and — oh, great, another Craigslist listing just got us hungry. 516 Gov. Nicholls #2 honestly had us at the cloud emojis on its listing. Completely renovated with ceramic tiles in its kitchen and living room, along with exposed brickwork and granite countertops, this French Quarter one bedroom also gains you access to a lovely private courtyard. $1,200 a month gets you a surprisingly secluded FQ apartment.

Uptown Two Bedroom

Holy cow! Prytania St! At least, that's how we read most of this Craigslist post for 3933 Prytania St. This easily excitable two bedroom includes a "furnished kitchen" (whatever that means) and loads of goofy tiles that don't so much harken back to its advertised Old NOLA charm as the styles of the 60s and 70s. $1,195 a month gets you this spacious apartment that includes water and a shared washer and dryer.

MidCity Two Bedroom

Secluded on the outskirts of MidCity sits this bright two bedroom shotgun. One of the only Craigslist rentals we've ever seen to include solar panels, 4738 Iberville St promises a low power bill as well as a backyard, shed, and appliances that includes a washer and dryer. Sadly, no pets are allowed. $1,200 a month gets you an apartment conveniently located near the Canal Streetcar line and City Park.
