A Map of Historic New Orleans School Buildings Up For Auction

View as Map

In the market for a massive restoration project? Next week, some historic Orleans Parish School Board-owned buildings are hitting the auction block and we've mapped them out for you. We hear that someone is pushing for the Oretha Castle Haley School to be an old folks' home and apparently a downtown charter school has its eyes on Hansberry Elementary. Don't fret just yet, though! There's still a bus barn that was once a Civil War hospital and a couple very-1980s West Bank office buildings. There are also a few lots up for auction that you can check out here.
