New Orleans has seen an influx of entrepreneurship in recent years, and as a consequence, beautiful coworking spaces are flourishing. All the spots listed here offer a range of options for all kinds of professionals, from those who need a private office and meeting space to the freelancer who is tired of spending hours at the neighborhood coffee shop. In addition to providing a desk, these places also offer members access to programming with focus on wellness, networking, professional development, and more.

Club Discovery is a 10,500-square-foot dance venue that reopened as a coworking office following a to-the-studs renovation in 2018. The modern space feels industrial-futuristic, thanks to exposed air ducts, glass walls, pressed-tin ceilings, and LED light installations. There are 18 assigned desks (which start at $350/month) and 17 private offices (which start at $650/month). Coworking memberships start at $200/month.

Amenities include a pool table and arcade games, a full kitchen with French Truck coffee and beer on tap, free parking, wi-fi, and free printing.

The Warehouse

Located in Bywater, this renovated warehouse has concrete floors, exposed brick, and sky-high ceilings for a modern work environment. They offer a ton of shared spaces, in addition to permanent desks with lockable storage and private offices. Day passes are $25, and monthly memberships start at $175. It’s also conveniently located near loads of great cafes and restaurants, and the in-house cafe, Capulet, has amazing sandwiches and salads. Indoor bike parking is a plus, too.

Through their Accelerator program, this nonprofit offers resources and mentorship for socially minded start-ups and business ventures. The Propeller Incubator is a co-working space with rental options ranging from a $20 day pass to $750 a month for a large private office. Bonus: you’re within walking distance of Laurel Street Bakery and the Rosa F. Keller Library.

The Domain Companies opened this beautiful coworking space at the Contemporary Arts Center in 2017. Located on the third floor of this Camp Street warehouse building, the space mixes contemporary amenities with historical charm. Its airy environs have concrete flooring, exposed ceiling joist, pendant lighting, and exposed brick walls in its higher-end offices—plus beer on tap and a kitchen fully stocked with reasonably priced snacks.

WorkSpace at Myrtle Banks

If you're a fan of the historic Myrtle Banks Building, home of Central City's Dryades Public Market, then you'll be pleased to find this gorgeous coworking space on its third floor. Its WorkSpace has 100-square-foot private offices, open desks, conference rooms, and a full-service office center. The Myrtle Banks building has a deep gallery on its third floor that often holds art exhibits.
