For the past four months, our friends at NeighborhoodX evaluated home prices in New Orleans neighborhoods. Today, the research and analytics firmed consolidated August house prices (price by square foot) from 17 different New Orleans neighborhoods.

In the current analysis, listed homes in New Orleans range from $37 to $999 per square foot. Last July, the prices ranged between $40 and $999 per square foot.

Below, you’ll find the average, highest, and lowest price per square foot selling points for 17 neighborhoods. Each neighborhood is ranked from least to most expensive.

Nonetheless, homes for sale in the French Quarter, on average, are near $100 more per square foot than in the Central Business District—It’s closest competitor.
